Galen Wolfe-Pauly with Tlon joins us to explain how his team is building a new peer-to-peer internet.
Galen Wolfe-Pauly is CEO of Talon, the company building Urbit. A designer and technologist, Galen grew up in the woods near Santa Cruz writing code, designing websites, and building software and digital tools. He eventually left the cypherpunks and hippies of California to study architecture at the Cooper Union in New York.
Galen is interested in building long-lasting software to help people control and shape their digital lives and communities. After over a decade of building conventional software for companies big and small, he realized there was no way personal computing was coming back on its own.
