Today we have Pankaj Balani, CEO of Delta Exchange, join us to discuss how Coronavirus is affecting crypto and current global markets. 

With over 8 years of experience as a business leader and derivatives trader, Pankaj Balani has dedicated the last 2 years building Delta Exchange, a next-generation derivatives exchange where traditional financial instruments and cryptocurrency trading intersect. 

A UBS alum, Balani has gained financial, derivatives, and quantitative financial experience through his positions at Edelweiss Asset Management and Elara Capital. He also led the product growth for Purplle.com, an Ecom business that was recently funded by Goldman Sachs. Balani co-founded the e-commerce business, ZippyBots, whose customers included Facebook, Axis Bank (India’s 2nd largest private bank), DCB Bank, 9xM (India’s largest music channel), and BrandFactory (India’s largest retail group). He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi with a degree in Engineering Physics and obtained an MBA from the Indian School of Business. With a passion for education, Balani has continued his academic pursuits by teaching online classes about derivative trading and whereby traditional financial instruments can be used in cryptocurrency trading.
