5 Crypto Slang Terms You Need To Know (Part 2)
Crypto slangs : There I was again, at 3 am, stalking the depths of Reddit forms reading about cryptocurrency. Sometimes, when I read their comments I have no idea what their slang means. So I wrote this so you don’t have to feel that way. Here are five crypto slang terms you need to know.
Bitshaming
Bitshaming is when someone makes fun of someone who invested in bitcoin (usually for a long period of time) and has not become rich yet. Think of it like kink-shaming but for cryptocurrencies.
Example: “OMG Karen, stop bitshaming me. My ROI has not hit yet.”

This can also be called H-Theory. Essentially it’s a theory that one day bitcoin will become the world’s currency and replace all the other world currencies.
Example: Person one: You should really hop into bitcoin now. It will replace all and become the sole currency. Do it before it’s too late!!
Person two: Sorry for them, he’s hyperbitcoinizating again.
Maximalist
A maximalist is another crypto slangs someone who is all in on something. They tend to have extreme views and are stubborn about their outlook.
Example: A bitcoin maximalist may be hyperbitcoinizating all the time. They tend to be very passionate about their standpoint that BTC will replace all and are stubborn about changing their mind.
